Niel Hens, professor at CenStat and University of Antwerp, became member of the Young Academy (an initiative of the Royal Flemish Academy of Sciences of Belgium). The inaugural ceremony did take place on March 10, 2014. “As a member of the Young Academy I will foster interdisciplinary collaboration, proper scientific communication, and the debate with policy makers,” states Professor Hens.
